0.1 Intro Blog: True Lies

Before we get started on the podcasts, we want to include a small written introduction.

When we started talking about the idea of doing a podcast, Boris and I knew we had to have psuedomyns to help protect our identity and our lives.  Not that either of those things are of any great value beyond the average person.  We have a pretty normal life cut right out of the middle of your average demographic.  A kid, a house, two cars, two pets, two jobs.  We watch popular shows, read popular books, listen to popular music and do all the normal things the average Americans do.... except for one thing:  We're beginning swingers.  And since we like to think of ourselves as pretty cool- we thought we'd go with the cool spy names from true lies.

At the start of this podcast, we are opening up this part of our life at the beginning.  We have made the decision to persue this lifestyle and have been trying to become 'experienced', but so far, we haven't been able to put our wants into action.  From what we've found, there aren't enough stories out there like this where people share how this process came about.  We feel that there is vital communication that happens as these things are explored and experienced.  We hope that people can learn from our path and making what we feel, a road more traveled.

For the fun stuff:  We're not all that serious, nor do we plan to be.  Our humor can sometimes cross the line into being 'uncalled' for and for this, we're not apologetic. You have the right to be offended by what we say, but you also have the right to turn us off, ignore us, and pretend we don't exist.  We're not out to hurt anyone with this show or what we do, so please bear that in mind before you write us a nasty gram.

So, sit back, enjoy our show, take our appreciation and gratitude for allowing us to figure out this whole podcasting business.  We do this for you!

  1. I am also an avid SIF listener, though my wife doesn't care for radio or podcasts.
    Greetings to Boris and Doris!
We are also beginner swingers, though I guess it all depends on what you consider to be a beginner.
We have been in the Lifestyle for about a year and a half, and found a few couples and select singles that we've played with.
We have found that living in a very small urban area, in Saskatchewan, Canada, makes it hard to meet new couples. Meet & Greets are few and far between, and there are no clubs to join and check out.
I am looking forward to checking out your podcast, now that I've found it. I've been known to send in comments to the shows I listen to, so there's a good chance you'll hear from me if you send out requests for your listeners. ;)
We have had our own mishaps and learning experiences along the way, from meeting and playing with single women and men, our first time at a swinger's club, and going to larger events like Halloween meets and a summer long-weekend Meet & Greet called Miss Kitty's Roundup.
Can't wait to hear about your own stories and experiences!

  2. tarantula911: Thanks for posting! We're very happy to be found, especially all the way out in Canada! Doris is very fond- she spent her 18th birthday all the way out in Northern Alberta (near the oil sands)

We have a lot of podcasts lined up that need editing before we load them up which, to give you a little teaser, we have had an experience but we're still very much babies. :) We also look forward to talking with our listeners, answering questions (as best we can) and being good members of the community. ;)

Thanks again for the feed back, hope to keep you entertained!
